Domain Life Cycle

Below is the definition of what each domain status mean when you do a whois query.

Active: Domain is active and working normally from the date of registration until expiry date.

Deactivated: Domain has reached the expiry date and is suspended by the registrar.

Redemption Period: Domain is expired and in redemption period. In order to renew the domain, a redemption fee of USD$250 is required by the registrar.

Pending Delete: Domain is past the redemption period. Renewal is no longer possible.

Available to Public: Domain is deleted by the registrar and available for public registration.
