Where to input Product Cost


Products > Products

To input the Product Cost for individual product,

  1. Go to Products > Products
  2. Click the Data tab



To see the full view of the Product Cost,

  1. Click on Expand


 

Descriptions :

  1. Averaging Product Cost
    • Determine whether you want to take an average of your product cost when different cost incurred for different batches taken for restock
  2. Restock Quantity
    • Enter the restock quantity
  3. Cost
    • Enter the cost of the product (for 1 unit)
  4. Cost [%] (Percentage from Sale Price)
    • Enter the percentage of selling price that is actually used to cover other miscellaneous or indirect cost (overhead cost)
  5. Additional Cost
    • Enter additional cost that incurred to the product, such as supplier shipping cost
  6. New Product Cost / Restock Product Cost
    • Display the product cost for the current batch
  7. Save
    • Click this to save and continue
  8. Back
    • Click this to exit

 

Usages :

  1. To keep track on individual product costing and also profit margin for the product
  2. To be used in reports, such as Advanced Orders+Profit Report
